Draft template — not yet reviewed by counsel or finance. Signal currently bills subscriptions by offline invoice with no in-app card payment. Confirm with Finance/Legal that the stated terms (net 30 invoicing, no proration on downgrade/cancellation, a 7-day billing-dispute window) reflect the commercial terms you actually intend before this page is published.

This Refund Policy applies to fees for the Signal subscription (the "Service"), a digital product operated by ONX. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

1. How billing works today

Signal subscriptions are currently billed by offline invoice on a monthly plan with a monthly credit allotment — no payment card or automatic charge is collected through the Service. This policy governs invoiced subscription fees; it will be updated before any in-app card or usage-based payment method is introduced.

2. General policy

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance for the upcoming billing period and are non-refundable once invoiced, except as set out below or as required by applicable law.
  • Unused portions of a monthly credit allotment do not carry over to the next billing period and are not refundable or convertible to cash.
  • If you believe an invoice contains a billing error (e.g. wrong plan, duplicate charge), contact us within 7 days of the invoice date at billing@onx.digital and we will investigate and correct any confirmed error.

3. Plan changes and cancellation

  • You may request a plan upgrade, downgrade, or cancellation at any time from your dashboard billing settings or by emailing billing@onx.digital.
  • Cancelling or downgrading stops future invoices (or reduces them) from the next billing cycle onward. It does not retroactively refund or prorate the current, already-invoiced period, whether you cancel, downgrade, or stop using the Service partway through — unless required by law.
  • Enterprise or custom-contract Merchants are governed by the refund/cancellation terms in their signed order form or contract, which take precedence over this page.

4. Service issues

If a documented outage or defect in the Service materially prevented you from using it for a significant part of a billing period, contact billing@onx.digital with details; we will review such requests case by case and may issue a credit at our discretion. This is not an automatic entitlement and does not create a service-level agreement unless one has been separately signed.

5. Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory refund or cancellation right that cannot be waived under applicable law in your jurisdiction (for example, distance-selling or cooling-off rights that may apply depending on how your business is classified locally). Where such a right applies and conflicts with this policy, the statutory right controls.

6. Future payment methods

If Signal introduces direct card billing or usage-based charges in the future, this policy will be updated first to state the applicable refund and chargeback-dispute process, and you will be notified before it applies to your account.
